Things have been busy at DoubleAgent this Spring! Here are some of the main improvements:
Large receipts
Your coffee receipt photos can now be up to 15MB!
It's great that your smartphone can take super high resolution photos of your dog / cat / kids / spouse (not necessarily but probably in that order), but it also means the quick snap of your railway station coffee receipt is going to be massive too. Well over 5MB anyway, which is FreeAgent's limit.
This used to mean you couldn't upload it directly – you had to crop it or compress it yourself first.
No more! DoubleAgent compresses it for you before passing it on to FreeAgent.
Email multiple receipts in one go
When emailing receipts / supplier invoices to DoubleAgent, you can now send as many as you want in one email. Previously you had to send each one in a separate email which was tedious when catching up on a batch of receipts.
No more confusion with images in email signatures in receipt emails
DoubleAgent has always tried to screen out those nifty images of your actual signature / thumbnail images of awards your company has won / etc, to avoid uploading them as receipts. However sometimes a real receipt photo got ignored, which was annoying.
The screening is much better now so no more receipts should be harmed.
Capital asset purchases
You can now explain bills, expenses, and bank transactions as capital asset purchases.
Stripe adaptive pricing
For those taking Stripe payments and explaining them in FreeAgent with invoices, you can tell DoubleAgent whether you have switched on adaptive pricing in Stripe. This affects the currency and amount of the invoice created.
Billing
On the billing side of things, it's easier now to resume a subscription that you had previously paused. And it's now possible to retry a failed subscription payment.
Stripe PayPal fees and Adjustments
DoubleAgent now handles PayPal fees, and adjustments too, when explaining Stripe payouts.
Etc
And a load of other small improvements too!
