How often does DoubleAgent sync with FreeAgent?
DoubleAgent syncs with FreeAgent every 30 minutes, at 3 minutes past the hour and 33 minutes past the hour.
If you happen to run or dry-run an explainer or Stripe/GoCardless integration while DoubleAgent is syncing, you might be unlucky and hit FreeAgent's rate limit (which stops FreeAgent's servers from being overloaded). It's nothing to worry about; just wait a minute or two and try again.
Every half hour seemed like a good balance when I launched DoubleAgent in 2017. Now, with considerable experience of how the system behaves, I would be confident syncing more often. And in fact it's on the to-do list :)
